Product short lived

I purchased this product 7 months ago and have used it maybe 3 times in total. While nailing some sort of trim, the trigger stopped resetting and didn't work. I called Dewalt at 1-800-433-9258 and at first they were friendly and said they would send me a shipping label to send to a service center. After 30 minutes there is no label. I saw that they called me on my cell phone and asked me to call back because the representative forgot to ask for my home address. I've been trying to call them…

Pros
  • Sequential Trigger
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING

Junk. Stopped working after 3 months of very infrequent use. The piston ring has cracked and the nailer head has jammed. When I disassembled it, the piston O-ring cracked and broke. Many previous reviews have said the nailer won't break in which happened to mine. I will not pay to send it in to DeWalt for repair due to an apparent defect; and which the manufacturer is obviously aware of due to the large number of such complaints. Unfortunately, DeWalt refuses to stand by its claim of…

Pros
  • Rear exhaust to keep debris out of the way
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

It's yellow like a lemon for a reason.

Bought to nail and tongue to some edge rows of bamboo where my 18 gauge nailer wouldn't fit and also to reattach baseboard moldings. Complete disappointment is the best description. For reference, I tried DeWalt nails, GripRite nails, and Porter Cable nails from 1 1/4 to 2 inches. Work at the recommended minimum pressure of 70psi and moderate tool pressure to keep work taut before nailing. a small hole in my work without a nail. Again and again. VERY DISAPPOINTED! When installing the baseboard…

Pros
  • Detachable scratch resistant nosepiece with tool storage
Cons
  • No power
