Very good hose good for hoses

I am very satisfied with the quality of this hose and the ease of use. I immediately coiled it up and added a 25ft hose and so far I'm 100% happy with it. Durability will become more evident in the future.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Excellent quality air hose

I bought a small DeWalt air compressor and this accessory was designed for that compressor. This hose is very well made although I only use it occasionally at home. Also, it's not as heavy as I expected, which is a plus.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Better than standard air hose

Good product and very durable. The only thing I don't like, which probably has to do with the strength of the hose, is that it's difficult to roll up and down. It appears to spin and only wants to spin in one direction/has a memory (if that makes sense).

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Compatibility

Great hose for the price

I like these hoses, the rubber is flexible and allows for easy maneuvering of the hose without twisting the hose. Those hard plastic tubes can pose a problem, especially when wrapped up for storage when not under pressure. I took off a star for durability as the last tube I only lasted a year before it swelled but with heavy use. For the price, this hose can't be beat.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Modern

given air. Burst Hole

Replaced the old hose with this one. After spending some time plugging it in and fitting it onto the hose reel, I opened my compressor valve and heard a faint click followed by a slight hiss. I pulled out the hose and found a small hole in the middle of the hose. The air pressure supplied to this reel is regulated at 150psi, which is within the normal operating range for this hose. Very disappointing to say the least. Also, there was a waxy coating on the outside of the hose that was peeling…

REPLACES BROKEN HOSE ON 50 FT REEL 50 FT REEL

I have a Harbor Freight 50 ft hose reel. After 5 years the hose broke and I needed a replacement. I bought this hose as a spare and installed it without much difficulty. Neither end of this hose has a freely rotating connector. So when I screwed one of the ends into the hose reel assembly, I had to constantly twist the entire hose (every 50 feet) to avoid kinks. It would have been nice not to have to fiddle with it during installation, but the quality of the hose is amazing. It is relatively…

Blow it out before use, a thin wrench will help.

Overall I like the hose but there is one thing I would change. The flat wrenches on each end are about half the height they normally are (see pictures). That's often fine, but I used this hose to replace a hose on a reel and the wrench got in the way of the swivel. So the thin 14mm makes it easy to install this hose. Another thing is that you have to make sure that you blow the hose several times until it is clean (this should be done with every new hose). I plugged in one end, then left the…
