Fits and works very well for my small and weak hands

This palm grinder is lightweight! It works very well for all the replastering, wall painting, and furniture repair projects I've done. Of course, the grain of the sandpaper is also important. One of the initial difficulties was removing and replacing the sandpaper. First, I turned the paper plate toward me and unclipped the paper holders with my thumbs; They tore off my thumbs, leaving ugly, painful bruises. I've learned that to remove the paper you hold the platen down and release the clips…

Pros
  • The dust bag is designed to mount directly onto the DWV010 or DWV012 dust bags
Cons
  • Long delivery time

It changed the rules of the game. I can't remember the year of purchase, but it was in the early 90's. I'm 45 years old now and I still use them. And I've tried many other brands over the years and none compare to DeWalt 1/4 blade sanders. Since then, they've changed and improved, and now they're even better. They…

I like it in power and hand tools

I've used quite a few grinders in my 40+ years of woodworking. I had an old Makita workhorse that was given to one of my kids. I had a cheap 1/3 blade B&D that vibrated a lot in my hands but was only semi good for rough sanding. I still have an old Rockwell commercial 1/2 blade sander that still does a good job sanding 60-120 after installing the new pad. My choice for a grinder is still my original porter corded RO, which was as good as the air powered Dynabrade when I had a specialty store…
