🔍 DEWALT HEPA Wet and Dry Vacuum Replacement Filter Review

The filter worked great. The company had it in stock and shipped it immediately. The filter is a high performance filter designed for large Dewalt vacuums.

What I received does NOT match the photo. It has no metal. It's cheap and made of plastic. Buy a cheaper retro fit. I never want to waste my money.

Packed in a black and yellow DeWALT box. Original replacement filter, the same as the one originally supplied with the unit. Tip: Lubricate the seal with petroleum jelly to make installation and removal easier.

Fits perfectly, indistinguishable from the OEM air filter. I clogged mine with drywall dust during a recent project, and simply knocking it over and blowing it out from the inside wasn't good for removing fine dust. So I bought this new one after making sure it was a proper OEM replacement (I have a cordless only handheld vacuum) and it works great!

Not sure if this is for the hepa rating or for washability, but the membrane significantly reduces the amount of air going through this filter. So ask yourself whether you really need a HEPA filter or a washable filter that requires gentle cleaning and doesn't last long. Good filter OEM replacement. Suitable for Dewalt DCV581H. The filter is durable, the main material of the fold is paper, there is a metal case on the inside of the clean side of the filter. On the dirty side of the filter is a layer of white membrane; probably the extra filtering that makes it HEPA. Be very careful when cleaning/flushing the filter. Weird, expensive filter, unique to a DeWalt vacuum of course and not normally available anywhere else. Finally found and bought at Revain. The vacuum cleaner is a battery-operated shop vacuum cleaner that is designed for both wet and dry cleaning. Unlike most industrial vacuums that use a main wet filter and a finer fabric dry filter, the DeWalt only uses that filter in both scenarios.
