this cable is amazing. I had a lamp that badly needed a floor switch to make it easier to operate. The cable length was perfect. The flat plug fits perfectly into the socket on the table. The foot switch is very easy to use.

I didn't know this existed until I stumbled across it. I have mobility issues and I love that all I have to do is press the little red button and turn the tree on or off. I'm trying to figure out how to use it for my bedroom lamp.

My brother-in-law hung it up as a light switch in my dark laundry room. That's great. The button itself is backlit so I can find it in the dark and it's easy to toggle on and off. Bottom right, I believe that's the UL certification someone asked for.

I love these cords. I've hooked up a lot of things behind furniture and these cables make it easy to plug in and turn on and off. I also have a lamp that I love very much, but the on/off button no longer works. With this power cord I can keep using the lamp without wasting the main switch.

This product is simply brilliant! I have three wall lights above my bookshelves and with this product I can turn them on and off with a swipe of my foot. I am very happy with it and would recommend this product to anyone who needs a great power strip that can be turned on and off at the same time. Thank you for a great product!

Beautiful cord. This Christmas season he has fulfilled his task. My only complaint is how close the switch is to the end of the cord that plugs into the wall. I'm sure you'll be fine if your tree is placed a few feet from a wall or outlet, but if your tree is placed directly against a wall like mine, you'll probably need a different cord. Working with the short end of the cable is annoying.

Worked great. I used it for a Christmas tree and will then transfer it to a lamp. The cord is long enough to avoid the need for an additional extension cord. The button on the bottom works very effectively. It's very handy if you have a device that you don't want to be constantly turning on and off. Highly recommended. I installed two luxurious lamps on both sides of our sofa to give more light. I attached them to this 12 foot extension in the center of the sofa. With a footswitch in the middle of this cord, anyone who wanted to turn on the light could simply press the large illuminated switch and both lights would come on. PERFECT! I bought another cable to do the same on the other side of the room. They work great and the backlit switch makes it easy to find in the dark (or anytime)!

Seriously. Probably the coolest and most practical power strip with an illuminated on/off switch. It was PERFECT for the few Christmas lights I wired up but will be using all year round. No more awkward reaching behind the couch to connect or disconnect three lighted trees!
