They work! in socks

What can I say, they work,,,,but I don't use them for hiking or training. I put them on at camp after drying my feet, either with flip flops or wet hiking boots. They keep my feet dry and warm. I don't like that they're so high above my calf, but that may not be a problem for others. Her shorter version isn't as thick, so I cut her to ankle length and sewed on an elastic. Not perfect, but works so far.

I'm a big fan of these waterproof socks. A+

I only warned 3 times. They have worked great every time. Last weekend I was at Chili Cook off (outside 8am). It was 50° with heavy rain. I was wearing a raincoat but no rain pants (mistake). My feet were cold and I thought the water got in through my socks. However, when I got home my jeans were so wet that the water was slowly dripping off the toe of my Keen hiking boots and running down my boot. I thought my feet were wet but when I took off my wet shoes my feet were dry. If I had worn…

That's great. I used to have the blue ones.

It's amazing. I used to have the one with the blue trim, the one with the cooling vent. Compared to them, these are definitely warmer. I paddle in my waterproof socks all year round and they are great when the weather gets colder. When the dock is submerged, like he usually is, my feet are completely dry. I also used them for camping: my boots got wet but I just put them on and felt comfortable. Two things to watch out for: Try not to walk in it as you will wear down the floor over time. Yes, I

These socks are great! In summer I mostly go barefoot

These socks are great! In the summer I'm mostly barefoot, if necessary also in sandals. In the winter, I probably wear sandals unless I'm going skiing, snowshoeing, or doing something else that requires special shoes. I used to wear thick insulating socks and my feet often got wet. If I was going anywhere, I would take a pair of muddy boots "just in case". These socks are perfect for me. They keep my feet dry even when there is snow between my toes and sandals. They are also very comfortable…

It was a great lightweight combo for climbing up and down mountains.

I wore them with regular trail running shoes (Saucony) on a moose hunt. It was a great lightweight combo for climbing up and down mountains during the day with a light pack. The shoes often got wet from afternoon showers, morning dew and multiple river crossings. The inside of the socks stayed dry apart from my usual sweat. The inside of the socks is amazingly smooth, no seams, very soft and comfortable. I wore this combination in temperatures of 35-65 degrees. The combo was a bit chilly in the

Good socks to keep feet dry and warm on cold hikes and camping

I wear these socks when winter hiking, hiking and boating in bad weather to keep my feet warm and dry. I have just returned from a 2 week trip up the coast of Mexico where I was exposed to 2 storms and these socks have held up well to several rainy days with cold wet nights at the wheel. I wore them with regular sailing shoes as a lighter version of thick waterproof boots. My shoes got wet, as did the outsides of my socks (which might feel like "dampness" on your feet), but my feet stayed warm…

Longtime Owner - Couldn't be happier

I don't like posting reviews until I've used/owned a product for a while. I bought them 2 1/2 years ago for a trip to border waters and have used them many, many times since. I've been very happy every time I've used them and they remain 100% waterproof. In fact, I wanted a pair of "over the calf" waterproof socks and looked at the same brand/company first to see if they had an "I" (they did, and I bought). What you need to know: When you first step into deep water, your feet "feel" that…
