Dexter 01003600 Grease Seal Review

Replaced oil seals when I replaced the bearings on my Forest River Cedar Creek five wheel camper. These seals are well made and fit perfectly.

Ordered to service axles on our toy dump truck. Local source wanted $55 each, got all four for about the same price! would recommend.

Dexter seals might not be the cheapest but the quality is excellent. When servicing trailer bearings, especially on the Dexter axle, I only use genuine American made seals and bearings.

So. I use them on my 2003 27-5 Arctic Fox 5 Series 4 and the last set looked good after 14,000 miles. I always use new seals during maintenance and always take an extra one in case I bend one during installation. Part numbers can be found on the Dexter website.

Yes of course it's a Dexter seal. Well made and fits perfectly. No problem and you'll get the quality you've come to expect from Dexter. Unfortunately I tried a cheaper brand. $4 off to be exact, but using the right tool to install the gasket, the spring inside came out and fell apart for no reason.
