It took about 3 hours to replace the parts. I took my time. The hardest part was removing the old bushings. The new parts appear to be better than the original parts on my trailer. I hope to get much more benefit if both wheels stay on the ground now.

All caravans should have this. Having never installed anything like this before, I managed to do it in 4 hours. The clevises are 3 times thicker than stock and the ability to lubricate the bushings makes my 27ft trailer extremely quiet. There was so much noise from the suspension cornering, nothing more. This is a very good product and arrived on time. My husband installed the kit on our 5th bike himself. Everything fit perfectly. The installation instructions are very good, but I find it better to do it from one side rather than removing the axles. New trailers should have this kit installed from the factory, it's much better than the original equipment!

My trailer maker used light alloy to make some key spring and axle parts. When I examined my axles, springs and clevises, I found oblong holes where the bolts attached the springs to the frame. Very insecure. I have ordered these which are much better constructed and have wet bolts so I can oil them if needed. I feel much better with these parts.

This kit has completely rid my suspension of annoying squeaks while driving. My old plastic bushings were removed in the leaf springs and compensating dampers. It is highly recommended to have a good knowledge of mechanics and a good tool kit. Don't be a hammer mechanic. The bushings are designed to be pressed in.
