good sharpness but corrodes too easily

I've only had it a few weeks and it has a lot of rust spots. I think it should be towel dried right after washing. Good blade, good sharpness, but corrodes too easily.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons

Good camping knife. in chef's knife

I'm in the process of assembling a camp kitchen and was looking for a good utility knife to add. I liked this size and shape. I also love the nostalgic feel of this simple knife. The blade has good edge retention and is easy to sharpen.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Exactly what I wanted, perfect handle and blade length, great buy

OK, fits on a kitchen knife and I'll try it on a camping knife. Traditional design, good quality and advantage. No, it cannot be washed in the dishwasher and requires care. As a knife addict, that's 10. I'll order another one for the RV.

I'm impressed that this manufacturer chose these.

I'm impressed that this manufacturer chose HARDER STEEL as stainless steel isn't as sharp as the older HARD! alloys. Protective pads to protect against slipping wet fingers onto the blade!

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • It's ok

Good steel, easy cooking

What can I say? This is great work at an effective price. If stains bother you, Nancy, then this isn't for you. It's not your stupid house knife wife. It's a cooking tool, the only thing I won't use it for is lettuce, which I can make into lettuce with my fingers. It's a sharp razor if you want it.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Hard to say

Sharp razor. in the kitchen and dining room

I don't like anything about this knife. If I could say something, I'd like a better grip made out of better materials than just wood. The knife has a carbon steel blade and in my opinion you just can't beat a carbon steel blade. I sharpened it on a ceramic rod and it instantly became razor sharp. The only thing about a carbon steel blade is that it needs to be taken care of or it will rust. I just wash it, dry it well and rub it with a thin layer of vegetable oil. You will be fine.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Appearance

Think of it as an outdoor knife, not a kitchen knife.

I received it as a belt/hunting knife. He does an excellent job with this role. It came out nice and sharp, had good blade geometry, and is actually a bit thicker than an old 7" hickory butcher knife (about half a millimeter). The steel itself seems quite strong, I don't overuse knives although it can be clubbed well. (Actually, the geometry of the blade isn't very good, but he can handle it). Is it better than old hickory? I don't know, it's definitely sharper and has a much better fit and…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
