🍞 Dexter-Russell Sani-Safe Scalloped Bread Knife - 8-Inch Carbon Steel Blade: Superior Performance and Hygiene Review

My husband has had this knife for over 20 years and really liked it so I wanted the same knife and it was exactly the same. For a knife that will last for years, the price was great.

Got a set of these knives as a Christmas present for my dad and so far I'm very happy with them. They are nice and sharp and do the job. One weird thing is that the packaging says it's easy to re-sharpen, but as far as I know you can't re-sharpen serrated/jagged knives.

The first package was lost but Revain was quick to send a replacement. Great product as well as great customer service. The knife is a great addition to my cutlery drawer. Cuts well and is easy to clean in the dishwasher. I have other Dexter-Russel commercial grade Sani Safe products (made in the USA) and have been completely satisfied with their performance and durability.

Great bread knife. It's slightly reduced in size as the blade length is fit for a bread knife, but it still does the job well. I really like the Dexter Sani-Safe line of knives because they are all NSF certified and have a very hygienic design. I also really appreciate that they are made in the USA in my home state of Massachusetts! I would say that these Dexter knives are qualitatively comparable to the Victorinox Fibrox line of knives.

The perfect bread knife. I bought another one as a Christmas gift for my parents, who previously only had $30 knife sets from Walmart. They were excited. We got ours from a restaurant that closed 3 years ago so it came to us after heavy use. We've sharpened it professionally multiple times, but only because we've sharpened the rest of our knives (it'll cost a few bucks at your local kitchen store, and definitely worth it for your chef's knives).
