This product is dangerous because the glass lid can break. When we first used the product to heat water, the lid broke and the falling jar cut my toe. I can't believe the lid is so fragile. We used the product correctly and the lid broke on the first use. I can't think of any other reason why this could happen other than POOR QUALITY. Contacted Revain and they said they would investigate. I hope you remember all the products. DO NOT BUY THIS, IT MAY HARM YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

Two stars for ease of use and size. Disadvantages: 1) the metal hob is too thin, too sensitive to heat; 2) Boiling broth or condensation from the lid could easily spill out the top edge, run down the pink plastic housing and into the plug causing a short circuit shutdown! Oh I love this pot!. It's not that easy to clean, but it has many other great features. One thing I noticed is that there are safety features that aren't explained in instructions such as: if the cable isn't fully inserted securely the pan will turn itself off.
