Good fit, good light

These are simple classic lamps that are great for aquariums. They are well and securely inserted into the lamps, and the performance meets the requirements. They provide plenty of light for small to medium sized aquariums with directed heat. Great for creating a lively environment.

Pros
  • Convenient small volume, less wasted volume for visual impact, 4.3in high* 3.1in diameter, E27 threaded base
Cons
  • No automatic

Great for general lighting of reptile habitats

I use one of these in a 40 gallon reptile tank for our bearded dragons. It offers a good combination of warmth and light. I have it in a double reflector and the other lamp is a ceramic radiant heater. I placed it closer to the center of the tank and the ceramic heater closer to the side of the tank. On the other side of the tank I have a UVB-CFL lamp. All of this indicates that there is a lot of light between the two bulbs in the tank.

Pros
  • Ideal for creating substantial warm areas in a terrarium, 100 watt heat lamp, 120 volts, 2 packs
Cons
  • Large and bulky
