🔧 7.25 X 70 Ferrous Ultrafine Review

Completely removed after cutting about 15 linear feet of 1/32 inch stainless steel sheet. I don't know if another blade would work better, but don't expect anything special from this one.

I cut a hole in a metal case with this blade and it was like cutting cardboard. I don't know how long it can last, but what I've done hasn't affected its cutting ability, so it'll last me forever now.

This blade really lives up to its reputation. The blade cut all types of metal I've used it on, including solid bar. Based on the performance of this blade, my next purchase will be a hacksaw that uses a 14" diameter Diablo Steel Demon Ferrous Cutting blade. Be careful with metal fragments and pieces, they detach from the disc at high speed. Wear normal metal cutting protection.

Used to trim the end wall and start metal for a mail shed. Wanted to buy a DEWALT cordless hacksaw but didn't have it in stock so I used one of my other DEWALT saws and it worked great. If you have painted steel or steel that you want to cut clean and neat, buy this blade now. Used this blade on my saw table for its very fine kerf. I reduced the blade rotation speed to 1800 rpm by putting a smaller diameter pulley on the motor shaft. Half the speed and twice the torque. Make dozens of bevel cuts on square metal tubing. Feed slowly to avoid sparking and prolong blade life. Sparking means that the metal being cut is heated and solidified by this heat. Once the path you're cutting gets hard, it will begin to blunt the tips of the carbide blades, creating even more heat.

I had to cut a lot of 29ga corrugated iron. Started with a grinding wheel. Then various hand cutters. Rotate the circular saw blade to run backwards. Grind the old blade down to a very fine notch. I bought this blade after trying to use the blade to cut metal on a reciprocating saw and encountering a hopeless problem with blade drift. There was no way a saber saw could cut through corrugated sheet steel without drifting. After some research I bought this knife and it works very well.
