Good diamond finish but not interested in wax

I ordered these to try and cut a few circles into smaller ring blanks. These drills are the same, but the wax just irritates me. I like to see innovations, but I might try tooth angles, full pitches, etc. For me, wax is only used in my projects, and that's another tidying thing up. I would definitely try different bits from this company. The beats themselves are solid and well made. I just wouldn't use wax crowns anymore. From any manufacturer.

Pros
  • drill bit
Cons

Difficult to use but excellent results

I got them to pierce the ceramic tiles in the bathroom which was a big problem for me. They work just as well as any drill bit I've tried, but it took me a while to learn to start the process at a 45 degree angle and then move to a perpendicular normal angle. Once I got the hang of it, they worked great. I'm glad I have four of these as I destroyed one of them in the tutorial. Cooling the wax insert works well and is easier to use than spraying water on the drill, although I suspect this would…

Pros
  • Masonry drill bit
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good job, but what happened to the wax core?

You helped me. I had to drill through the tile to install my mom's handrails and that helped. Photo shows a 6mm drill bit after drilling four holes in a cement backed ceramic tile. I don't see the abrasive grains coming off the nickel plated plate and I don't understand why it doesn't cut four more like the first one. I set my cordless drill to maybe 500rpm and kept the hole wet from start to finish, allowing dirt to come out. The beat never got too hot to touch. I started it at an angle as you
