The item was delivered in less than two days. I used my drill press with a chisel so I have no problem starting a cut without a pilot chisel. I used this to cut a hole in porcelain stoneware for my shower valve. It worked. It's very difficult to start because it doesn't have a central axis. I used a foam board template attached to the tile to act as a guide and hold some water to cool the saw. The result is a perfectly clean hole. It seems expensive for what is (to me) a disposable item, but after a cut it leaves a lot of cutting material on it, so I think it will last a couple of years before it wears out.
