Love this diamond hole saw, I've used it for drilling hard china, I've also used the jig the company sells. It worked wonderfully! I was totally surprised given the price. Other bits like this are at least double the price. This bit is very well made for the price. Drills perfect holes, make sure you use water and you won't be disappointed. Have fun drilling.

Worked very well for me. I had to drill a hole in the marble for a washing machine drain in the 2nd floor laundry room. I used 3M tape to create a small barrier to hold back the water. Water to keep the blade cool while spinning. I changed the water regularly as it became cloudy from the marble and the cut line was not visible. Start at a corner and finally align the cutting plane. The most important suggestion: take your time. Hold the drill in place with both hands.

Drilax 3" Diamond Hole Saw - Purchased to cut a hole in a 1" diameter granite slab and it did the job. As many others have mentioned, it is very important to keep the cutting surface wet and run the drill at very low speeds.
