Do not buy. Not centered, returns

At least 5 saws were not centered/aligned with the shaft causing them to wobble. This is for safety reasons, as either the workpiece will move (if the glass breaks) or the saw itself will overload and break. This is also a quality issue as the hole cut is not the correct diameter. Also, at least 2 of the shafts were oval, not round, so they align differently with each installation.

  • Permanent coating

Works great on hard-paste porcelain tile

I had to cut holes in hard-paste porcelain tile for shower taps. It cuts surprisingly well, just pour some water on the tile and start the hole at an angle. I stopped once to check and add more water. One cut was entirely on the tile and the other was partially removed from the edge. Both went well. I only did one cut with two different sizes but the price was low enough to be worth it and I expect to use them again in the future.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Empty

Great to use on stained glass!

I was trying to find an easier way to make circles for decorations out of the broken stained glass in my church shrine (our church was damaged in a storm). It was a struggle, I ordered these drills and they are wonderful. I did 10 laps in the time it took me to do 1. I'm very satisfied and can't wait to go into more detail with these exercises. I feel like they have already paid for themselves in the time I have saved. I would definitely buy them again if I needed to replace the drill bits for…

I was skeptical about this $12 set, but...

Yes, I was skeptical about this under $12 diamond drill bit set, but I gotta tell you it worked to drill a hole cut into quartz. Have a metal sculpture of a hummingbird and flower with a steel base for a garden. Wanted to put a piece of semi flat quartz stone over a steel base to make it look like it was set on stone. This involved cutting a 2 1/2" diameter groove in 3/4" thick quartz. Then drill a 16mm hole at the end of the cut. (See photo) Bought a 4 1/2 inch diamond blade for less than $10…

Plant lovers - no drainage hole? Problem solved.

I bought some pots from the dollar store with no drainage holes. I keep the plants in a nursery pot and use the ceramic pot as a cachepot. Some seedling pots don't fit in a planter and I didn't want to buy a bunch of expensive pots that they would just outgrow. I'm by no means handy, but I was able to drill 14 pots! I have tested 3 different sizes of drill bits and although I have completed my project I am wondering how long each one will last as the smallest one broke after only drilling 3…
