Quick and easy smooth edges for cutting tiles!

I make tile sample panels for new home builders that are often viewed up close. These discs smooth out any rough cuts I might have very quickly. They give your tile a factory look. customers love it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are defects

They work fantastic

A lot of people have told me that I can't concrete and smooth laminate floors. In this box I only use the finest grit wheel and stopped because outside of a little spot here or there it looks like glass and I liked the pattern of the grinding wheel on the low grit wheel so I stopped.

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Legacy model

Works perfectly! Excellent quality! Concrete Countertops

Burnt 50 grit. I used a grinder, it may have been spinning too fast and couldn't hold enough water. After 200 grains I had very smooth counters other than not noticing much of a difference. Good product! Good price! Makes a mess, walls, ceiling, in your ears.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Amazing price, the best among body repair tools

I have used these great buffing pads to finish the tops of some of the tables I have made and the results have been amazing. However, by all means use this outdoors as the process spreads sand and water all over the place. I went from 80 grit to 300 grit and the concrete is like glass, sooooo smooth and beautiful.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Dangerous/Leaves permanent brown stains on stone

I used this product and it came off my grinder (maybe it can only be used with a polisher?). Definitely don't buy it if you plan to use it with a grinder. My rims flew off a few times and I actually dented my truck. On the third slice it left a brown sheen on the white marble that I was polishing. I was hoping that the next pass would remove it, but the problem only got worse. i will return it

Pros
  • Pleases
Cons
  • Compatibility

Support pad modification

As others have noted, the support pad falls apart after a few uses. apply plenty of superglue between the velcro and rubber backing and hold under pressure overnight before proceeding. After that, it worked quite well even after several hours of use, albeit not balanced. I suspect my scores, including transparency, would have been much higher if the back hadn't fallen apart. It seems that using a better adhesive would be an easy decision for the manufacturer to make.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unsafe

Great set of polishing pads

I watched a number of videos on polishing granite and then selected techniques that were common to all successful ones. Use water to lubricate and cool material/pads. Do not exceed the recommended speed on the blocks. Use a variable speed grinder - the mounting pad fits snugly on it. Keep moving! If you have a blank, practice first, you will feel how the surface reacts to the polishing process. Don't skip pads. Consistency is very important as each pad has the right grit to remove the scratches

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Doubtful

It's worth it, the work is incredibly good!

Winner! Together with the round saw blade, this saved me a lot of money! I used polishing pads after cutting the travertine butt plate. A travertine nose is ridiculously expensive if you can find it. As mentioned in other reviews, you MUST use the pads in order, there is no shortcut. I was able to opt for an 800 grit pad, which matched the tile's factory finish, which saved me time. With some ingenuity, I installed my pad on a 20v DeWalt drill press, set it to speed three and it worked…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Achievement
Cons
  • Not Satisfied
