Classic Style for Boys: Dickies Long Sleeve Oxford Shirt Review

Decent shirt but it would be better if it had a crease at the back. Also, the sleeves don't have permanent creases, so add some starch.

My son was supposed to wear collared shirts for camp. You were perfect. Wrinkle Resistant. Just drop the dryer for a few minutes and it's ready to go.

I don't have a size 10 Dickies. I have a size 12 chaps. I decided to keep it because it will grow into it, but it's not as bright white as other shirts I've bought in the past.

I love these shirts. This is my second order of these t-shirts. They still look very good and don't wrinkle even after wearing them all day. I don't like ironing so it doesn't crease easily which is a plus.

Size OFF. My 11 year old is 57 inches tall and 23.5 inches from center of neck to wrist. He usually wears a size 10. The sleeve in size 10/12 ran small even before washing. We order 14/16.

What can I say? I bought this for my son's high school band performance. It was delivered quickly, fits, he hates it and will never wear it again. By the time he has to wear something nice again, he's grown up and needs a new one. Although it suits him. It's hard being a kid wearing stupid shirts.

The material is very comfortable. Very white and thick enough not to need a tank top. Seems very well done. However, the size is very small. My child is 9 years old. Sure, he's over 9 (usually wears a size 12) but not tall enough to wear a husky outfit. I measured it and decided a size 14/16 according to the Dickies size chart would be best. He should have had enough space to add a leotard and we hoped he would have one for his orchestra's concerts throughout the year and possibly next year…

I prefer French Toast oxford shirts. I'm a waiter in a restaurant and for some reason this shirt has a thinner material and baggy sleeves.

The material was thin, the workmanship was poor, the fit was a little smaller than expected. I was disappointed in the shirt. I will not buy it again and cannot recommend it. I would send it back but I threw away the labels.

I was looking at white shirts at a local store and they looked a little thin. I chose this oxford shirt because I thought it would be a bit thicker. It turned out thinner than I thought so I'll probably have to wear a t-shirt underneath. However, given the price, I'm happy with the purchase. Fits as expected.

Bought as a boy's school uniform in the hopes the Dickies brand would be tougher than most. The material of the shirt holds up well, but the buttons are sewn poorly. One fell off and the thread on several others came loose.

Dickies are always of excellent quality! Use this shirt for my son's private school uniform and it holds up well for several days of use throughout the week.

Gave it to my son for our wedding. He wears 12/14 jeans, L/XL shirts (he has a small stomach) and a tight shirt. It will work but I would recommend Huskies for bigger boys/girls. He is 4 inches 10,105 pounds

Not as easy care as I expected but a few minutes in the dryer is enough to keep my 12 year old looking good enough. If it has a special case, it still needs to be petted.

I just bought four more of these for my two boys when they started high school last month and needed blue oxfords. We used the white version last year and while they are not wrinkle resistant, they are difficult to wrinkle. My boys roll up their sleeves so the sleeves crease when I roll them out to wash the shirt, but even if they leave it on the floor and wear it for a second time the next day, there are no wrinkles. Good quality white shirt for my 10 year old. it runs small, so the sleeves of the shirt were a bit long, but not too long. He looked good and he wore it without complaining.

These are oxford shirts for my kids uniform. They are thick, not soft, but we use them at the Catholic school in the winter. My kids wear tank tops with it so the fabric isn't uncomfortable. They are durable, very easy to wash and I don't iron them, just hang them up and let them dry.

This shirt has never been worn. My grandson will be wearing it to our celebration called Dickens on the Boulevard in downtown Claremore this weekend. We tried it on and it fits, but he hasn't worn it yet.

As other reviews have said, the quality of the material is good and thick, but be sure to keep the size in mind. My son is 13 and he is not a big husky. He normally wears a size 16 but ordered a size 18-20 shirt and it fit him.

My 4th grade grandson is in a school organization where he has to button and button his white shirt once a week. This shirt is durable and won't get dirty easily. Also, it has a heavier fabric and will keep you warm inside without a sweater.
