Wonderful Unit That 1 Guy Can Install

The unit is really easy to put together. It's modular. Put the brackets up, slide the awning into the brackets, secure the awning in the brackets with the provided bolts, extend the awning and adjust the drop angle and that's it. The problem is the weight and length. I got the 8 x 10 ( it's really not, it's constructed in metrics and sold with rounded up English measurements.it's a few inches smaller, no big deal) and it weights 55lbs. To try and slip both ends of a 55 lb 10' stick into 2 tight

Great Value on my review.

This is a quality awning and is very easy to install. I read a previous review where the person purchased stainless steel lag bolts and washers instead of using the lag bolts and washers that were included, so I did the same thing. It cranks open easily but takes a bit more effort to close. Overall, I’m very happy with it and I think it’s a great value for a quality product.

Four Stars: my feedback

Seems to be good quality. Makes a nice addition to our patio UPDATE: The green stripes are fading quickly (6 mos) in our Arizona sun; maybe a sturdier material (such as Sunbrella) would have held up to the sunlight better.

This makes being outside in the heat more tolerable. The green and white stripe design may not match all outdoor decor styles, limiting its aesthetic appeal! Easy to use and its the cutest addition to your backyard!
