Large thermometer

I simply monitor the temperature of my heating and air-conditioning stove. That works great. The only downside, and a small one for my application, is that all the buttons are on the back of the device. It would be better if the buttons were on the front where they were easily accessible.

Pros
  • Digital thermometer
Cons
  • Without automatic

The sensor cable will melt well below 400F, probably below 300F.

tried to use this to verify the oven temperature. About the time the stove hit 325F, I smelled a melting cord. Deleted it right away. Not sure how this can work on 500F+ as the metal sensor is attached to the cable with the same material (vinyl?, pvc?) as the fused cable insulation.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Negative impression
