Not as best described in Household Goods

Received three packs of 22 battery cards today which turned out to be the cheapest kind. The cards show the expiration date 12/31/2015 of Chinese origin. Yes they sent me 66 batteries but no alkaline markers and no coated markers to reduce leakage. Nickel sized CR2016 coin cells are included and marked "Lithium" and "Japan", but all smaller batteries are marked "Cell" only and marked "T&E". Lithium coins have a 10-year shelf life and rarely expire, so they're worth something. That might sound…

What I need: Coin and button cell

I found my thermometer's battery was dead and (of all things) not working, so instead of buying an overpriced new one I did a little research to find it out which ones I need. Instead of buying 20 of these as I have other things with buttons I wanted to buy a multi pack and this seemed to be the best. The package is bigger than I thought, about the size of a piece of computer paper, but still thin and doesn't take up too much space. I wish each cell had a perforated back so I could slide one…

Given the price, what could go wrong?

I have a set of digital calipers that have completely died after 5 years of infrequent use. I open it and see that I need a battery that's equivalent to the AG13 357, so I'm like, 'No problem, I'll go to [insert famous department store here] and get one. Bad luck. It always seems that the stores have every other type of battery that man has ever invented, but never the one I need. I'm sure you feel the same way.
