Great for the price!

Apparently not a high end camera but it was fine for my purposes. I hooked it up to a 32" 1080p TV and my computer. My computer lags when sending data over USB 2.0. Using a faster USB, it can work closer to real time. However, with the HDMI cable straight into the monitor, which was very easy to use, I haven't had any issues for a few months now and use it all the time.

Pros
  • Video format: MOV (for TF card); Image format: JPG; USB video resolution: 1920*1080@30fps
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Excellent picture quality

Part of me wants to give this microscope zero stars, part of me wants to give it 5 stars. Why zero? Really bad build quality. The stand has painful injuries. The lens clip is so rough I thought someone cut it off with a handsaw. The zoom lens fell off. It is held in place by 3 small screws that need to be re-tightened. The instructions are poor, especially when it comes to which connector is for the camera and which is for the LED light. It's best to take a close look. Although both use 12VDC…

Pros
  • USB support for PC: WIN7/8/10/XP, parameters and remote control cannot be configured for USB output.
Cons
  • Updates

Finally a "cheap " microscope suitable for microphotography

I'm a stock photographer and I wanted to learn photomicrography. After testing 7 inexpensive digital microscopes ($50-$300), most of the images produced were too grainy/blurry at full magnification, this tool finally worked. Image quality doesn't seem to be a big issue for manufacturers, and according to reviews, this isn't an issue for most users. The resulting images must be at least 6 megapixels and 100% sharp. I can get these results with this microscope. The 14 megapixel camera transmits…

Pros
  • Image resolution: 4320*3240 (for TF card) 1920*1080 at 60 fps (for TF card); 1920 * 1080 (for USB)
Cons
  • Useless functions
