The scale of the soil pH meter is very small and it is very difficult to get an accurate reading. The water pH meter has a calibration button but does not include calibration liquids. than not having gauges but really limited in usefulness.

Everything is great. Why they didn't see fit to include some sort of calibration formula to calibrate the pH meter is a real inconvenience. They don't tell you none of them are included, so you can order a few of them at once so you can start using the meter right away without having to wait days for the calibration powder to arrive. Shouldn't be too expensive. It would also be nice to have more detailed instructions for every 3 meters.

Soil test probe doesn't work at all (reads anything between 7-8, I've even tested it in vinegar soaked soil) Liquid pH tester needs calibrating before you can use it, which requires the use of pH buffer (not included) to bring the liquid to a specific pH for calibration (which you wouldn't know if your liquid had the correct pH value for calibration, without you there was already a way to check pH using another method, such as test strips). Just buy a test strip kit and save time.
