As a home chef I've been searching for a reliable thermometer to check the temperature of my dishes .As a result of using this product, I found that it's extremely accurate and easy-to-use. The backlight display makes it easy to read the temperature even in low light conditions. The compact and durable design makes it easy to store in my utensil drawer. The product works great and has given me a sense of the different room temperatures around my house especially when checking the accuracy of my home thermostat. The backlight is nice and the functions are easy to use. I used it one night to check the ambient temperature in my bedroom, accidentally fell asleep with auto-off disabled, and when I woke up it was still rocking! (great batteries) The only thing that didn't impress me and why I can't give it 5 stars is how the protective case works as
