I have painted 12 previous paint by number pictures. None of them required mixing 2 colors to get 1 color. I didn't even know there were images to mix. When you paint by numbers for the first time. I do NOT recommend this one. I like this "cardboard" material, which is harder than the canvas-like material I painted on. The paint quality is good. However, despite the fact that I didn't do it. This set does not indicate anywhere to the consumer before purchasing that we must mix the colors ourselves. If I wanted to do this I wouldn't have bought a paint by number kit. Why aren't all the colors you need included? Half of the colors needed for this painting have to be mixed by hand. Empty containers are not supplied, so why should we mix them so they don't dry out?
