Everyone loved the birth certificate I made for my niece. More than enough thread included, I have plenty left, Instructions were very easy to follow. It took me at least 4 months to finish it because I only worked on it occasionally. I will definitely be using Dimension kits in the future as they have a cuter design than other brands. I'll post some photos of the finished project.

My wife and I are expecting a granddaughter this June so I wanted to make something special. This is my second cross stitch project. It was fun. I have only back seams and am waiting for Kairi's birth to be completed. The toys on the shelf are very cute and relatively easy to make. It's not a complicated pattern. No beginner in embroidery should tackle such a big project, it will scare you. But once you've done it once or twice, this pattern is easy to follow and works great. My only complaint is that I ran out of thread in a color or two. Not sure what's wrong, but customizing the thread is a real pain. It could very well be operator error. :)

This cross stitch turned out just perfect for my daughter. In fact, I didn't do it, my mother-in-law did it, but she said she loved doing it. The colors fit perfectly into every child's room. At first I thought it was more for a boy, but actually it's great for a girl's room. The pink and yellow tones really stand out. I've framed it with a soft yellow matte finish and it looks wonderful.
