I bought this cute cross stitch. I'm going to make this for my aunt for Christmas. i look so happy

I like that they give extra thread. I messed up the letters a few times because I couldn't concentrate and had to rip them out and redo them and still have some thread left over.

I made two of these, one for my mother and one for my mother in law. They were very charming and didn't take too long to finish. Both grandmothers loved the gift!

This was a quick cross stitch. I omitted all the words and replaced them with 6 names and also included "Great" in the words "grandparents". It was very well received and made a great gift.

I've been counting cross stitch for 30 years and I know it will probably be easy to replicate. What I didn't know was how fast it would go because I just couldn't put it down and wanted to keep going. When you sew one hand, you want to find the other. Once all hands are there, you know you want those hearts. Then only words remain and that's it. I also like that I now have a template to do this over and over again. I've had friends who saw it and asked me if I could make it for them as a gift…

The pattern is great and easy to make. It's very sweet, I won't lie. Anything else, however, is a bigger headache than it's worth. First, I couldn't even use the needle that came with the kit. My filament feed hole was completely closed. I had to use a needle from a previous project I had finished. Second, the thread in this set is the WORST I've ever dealt with. I'm actually surprised I haven't run out of the colors I've used so far. It's very difficult to untie the knots if they get tangled…
