Dirt Devil Hand Belt Fits Review

Although the description says they fit the Dirt Devil M08100, they don't. The belt fits until I turn on the vacuum, after which they keep falling off the spindle.

I have worn this belt three times and was about to criticize it in reviews. Then I saw the picture on my dirty devil's page (also pictured in the reviews section) and tried again. Great fit, strap needs to be twisted to stay in place.

It took a bit of effort to tighten the tie between the brush and the motor on my Dirt Devil. At first I thought the band wouldn't fit, but I was wrong. It is enough to pull the tape (I used a screwdriver) on the motor. After that you can go! Now I have a "new" Dirty Devil.

No, no, no. These straps will not fit "all Dirt Devil handheld vacuums". I'm sending them back because by the time I pay for shipping it's not worth it anymore, but this ad isn't specific enough. Revain sells the right product, but it's not the "one size fits all" advertised.

I have an old (bought it over 10 years ago) Dirt Devil portable machine and the belt is finite cracked. It looked like it would be a great deal as it claims to fit all models. Unfortunately the straps are too small to fit. My guess is that when they published this article they didn't expect people to still own cars that were bought over ten years ago. I've searched again and found another package that specifically mentions the 0100 model, so I'll give that a try.

My husband fixed the vacuum so I don't know how easy the installation was but I didn't hear him grunt so I'm assuming that a sign that it wasn't difficult! The car runs, that's all that counts. Don't know about the cost yet as it has just been put on the vacuum cleaner, hopefully it will last a long time. I don't understand why the question was asked about transparency because it's thick rubber! So I give review questions an A, and I can't scroll down to submit them if I don't rate them.
