It's PITA to try a watch, but this little gadget has allowed me to track every minute of run time from day one. I don't need that much, but in this case, more is better and there's nothing left to cut or clean. I used a zip tie on both ends of the wrapping rather than wrapping it in shrink wrap since my spark plug boot won't detach from the wire.

Works great with my Honda EU2200i generator. I wrapped one end around the spark plug wire several times, and the other end of the wire entered neatly into the slot on the gauge itself.
