Low Profile Plastic Car Service Ramps - Discount Ramps (2 Pack) Review

Bought these for my 2018 Civic Type R as the jack point for the front is far away. The 245s on the car were fine. I also used some rocks as stoppers in case they slip, which didn't happen. Definitely use a spotter to guide you. It seemed to me that I had hardly gone far when I got to the bottom of the ramps.

First, the ramps for wider sports car tires are very narrow. Second, as previously mentioned, the height is too low for "easy access" to the undercarriage of most vehicles. At best, this can raise your flat car high enough to slide a hydraulic garage jack under your car. Also keep in mind that the end stops are so low that it seems like you can drive right through them and potentially damage your car. If you still order them, please drive very slowly to the ramps.

These are the only ramps I can find that will fully clear the front splitter on a split C7 Corvette Grand Sport/Stingray. My C7 is also lowered on stock studs so I needed a low profile ramp to help me get the lower front jack. Basically it gives me a little lift to get the jack to release the front splitter. These ramps allow me to stick a jack right under the front splitter and lift the Corvette right off the front chassis support structure, making jacking the car so easy! Cool ramps!

I like these ramps, they line up easily under the wheels, they fit easily under a low car, they are strong and show no signs of wear. a weakness that would make me hesitate to park my car on them. I think my only 2 "complaints" (not really complaints) are that the bottom of the ramps could use a bit more support and I wish they were a bit wider. I like that they give my race car (about 2500 pounds) a little ground clearance so my lift can get to the ground without hitting the frame. However, I have an epoxy urethane shop and I don't like the way they slide. You will not stay. Jump in with a running start and you can tour the beach boy style shop. (Don't try this with two of them, you'll go too fast and crash into a wall.) The tires will push them all over the store just trying to get onto things, or the drive wheels will make them fly.

Not sure why there are so few reviews on these ramps. Their value compared to more expensive counterparts is great. These are very light weight one piece plastic ramps with a low profile and tire contour on the top level. I bought these to better place my Toyota 86 on a 2 post 4 arm hydraulic lift without having to use a jack to raise the chassis and place the armrests under the jacking points.
