Discovery World Furniture Nightstand Merlot Review

Came complete but damaged. Originally attached with 20 clips, the back panel only hung on one while the rest were ripped out of the wood. This is not chipboard, but the wood is very soft and cheap. Came with a few dents that I can't fix. The wood is not tinted or treated, the color is due to the veneer. Regardless, this is a nice bedside table, but I don't expect it to last long. Not worth much.

Item arrived with left side panel and broken parts. The pad on the inside of the left side looked like a patch and was only 20% the size of the pad on the right. It took two days to take it apart, glue the pieces of wood and put the crumpled side back together. You will also need to fill in the gaps where the pieces of wood were missing with filler and then mix the stain with that on the cabinet. Think twice about buying this item.

I only ordered this because it matches exactly what I already have. These items were purchased elsewhere and did not offer a bedside table. However, this particular piece is made very differently. Wood is definitely not that heavy and durable. The bedside table is damaged in places, very poorly and cheaply assembled. I didn't return it just because of the trouble of giving things back at this point because of everything that's going on in the world. I would definitely not recommend.
