Yellow Discraft Ultra-Star 175g Review

Can't get any better than the legendary Discraft Ultra-Star. The color is perfect too. Not as nasty as a glow in the dark, but still bright enough to see while playing games that last until sunset.

The shape is slightly different from the standard Ultimate Frisbee. It took me a few times to go out and stop before I got used to it. But once I've done that, it flies great. Also slightly harder plastic so catching requires a bit more skill. In general a good product.

My husband really enjoyed his frisbees when he opened them for Christmas. We broke the last one (he was 10 years old) in the summer. It was unusually warm for the area so we had to play with them. They flew straight and didn't swing. The product is well made, sharp pieces do not protrude from the edges. Well weighted and easy to fly I can see that we will enjoy these two for years to come.

If you like Ultimate or just throw frisbee, this is the best disc you will ever buy. I've been using them since the mid 90's and never buy other brands. These discs are well balanced, have excellent glide and a comfortable throwing feel. Once you've used a Discraft Ultra Star disc you'll never go back to anything else, I guarantee it.
