📺 DISH HopperGO Travel DVR: Your Ultimate Portable Entertainment Solution Review

HopperGo is no longer supported by the Dish network. I really like the concept but couldn't get started. I wouldn't update the firmware to make it work. I spent about 2 hours with Dish trying to figure it out but to no avail. I have the latest Hopper 3 receiver with strap and I still can't get the HopperGo to work.

I ordered HopperGO to easily transfer and watch recorded shows on the DVR on the go. The transition process was pretty easy. But there seems to be a lot of problems when trying to play the episodes. For example, I postponed several episodes of different shows. And they appeared on HopperGO. When I looked at them, there was usually an error at some point. Let's say I translated 6 episodes. all 6 appear in the menu. but sometimes when I went to play one of them, it didn't play the right episode…

I was so happy to receive the Hopper Go after realizing it was out of stock and ordering it back. Well, I had no idea the good folks at Dish Network needed a hopper with sling (not a sling adapter like I bought) DVR or Hopper 3. I called to see if I could trade my current DVR for a hopper with a sling and they would give me credit for a sling adapter I bought for Dish Anywhere. I was told they could come out for $64.xx and replace my DVR with a hopper with a sling, or for $150 they could…
