Dish Network FBA_4330245229 NETWORK Remote Review

It was delivered on time, easy installation and the same factory controls. Everything worked fine, but from the second day of use, the volume button stopped working. So I lost some of my control again. I spent a month on it and never worked again. I wanted to buy this because it arrived in 2 days and I shipped the dish in over a week. I'm disappointed.

If you're buying a new remote because your original remote stopped working after changing the battery, check the antenna on the back of the dish if it still doesn't work. I replaced my remote and later discovered that my antenna had been damaged by one of my kids. There is nothing wrong with this product, I have a backup remote now, but before I spend money on it, a new remote antenna costs about $9.

We arrived in a van and accidentally left the Dish satellite remote at home. We ordered this universal remote control and were amazed by its functionality! We don't have to keep switching between Samsung TV and Dish remotes like we used to. We use Mute and Recall all the time (I hate hearing or seeing commercials). The number pad is very responsive compared to our original Dish remote which was too spongy and didn't always work when we pressed a number.

Update: On the first day the 'down' button on the square plate stopped working. Everything else works fine but I'm shocked I'm already having trouble with this remote. My wife spilled hot chocolate on our other remote and I couldn't get it to work again. Found but feared it is not original. After reading the reviews I bought it and was very happy that it was a genuine Dish remote. It took about two minutes to connect the Oyster and now my hopper and TV functions work great with it. I bought this remote control to replace a satellite TV remote control that no longer works. It took me about 10 seconds to pair with the Hopper 3 DVR. The new remote works perfectly. The keys are clearly labeled and some have dual functions. The short learning curve is a big plus. I didn't appreciate the durability as I only used it one day.
