Just what I need for a Thunderbolt Dock

Bought a Thunderbolt Dock to use with a MacBook Pro. The dock only had DP connectors and I connected it to the TV via HDMI. I first tried using a good quality DP to HDMI cable and the MacBook locks up completely every time I plug it into the dock. After troubleshooting, I found that this only happened when the TV was connected to the dock. The dock manufacturer's website stated that an 'active' adapter is required to connect an HDMI display. This worked great.

It just works and the guarantee is great!

Equipment: Dell Latitude E7450 Laptop, Dell E-Port Plus Dockingstation, LG - 34WL500-B 34" IPS LED UltraWide FHD FreeSync Monitor with HDR (HDMI) My customer's laptop only has a lame Nvidia GeForce 840m 2GB onboard graphics card which doesn't match the high speeds supported by this 4K DP to HDMI dongle but I was able to set the highest resolution the card supports (2560 x 1080) without flickering.Warranty ranges from 8 months to 54 months just by following a simple registration process!

Price and build quality

So the adapter got to me a few days earlier than expected so that's a plus. So the adapter does what it should. This allows anyone to use an HDMI cable with DisplayPort input or output. I bought it to connect my computer to my new LG Nano TV. So I wanted to use my 144Hz Displayport outside of my computer to connect to my TV's HDMI 2.1 input, which can handle 120Hz at 4K. And it worked like a charm. I checked the frame rate in COD MW and in my PC readings I got between 140Hz and 130Hz. The TV…

Turns the screen on and off. But as with the 60Hz feature - try again

The display flickered on and off when using the latest Intel I5 + DisplayPort GPU. Two display ports and none of the ports worked. Connected another brand and the problem was solved. Not sure if the "active" part is buggy or what. Used an HDMI to DVI adapter with this one, but this part works fine with another adapter. No problem with other DisplayPort adapters. I haven't tried it on another PC yet. I still like the active 60Hz feature. I'll change my review to a setup that works once I set it…

Couldn't get 4K at 60Hz

I see a lot of feedback that 4K at 60Hz is fine for them, but unfortunately it is NOT working for me. Build and experience details are provided below. I use this adapter to connect my GPU (EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER FTW3 ULTRA+) to a 4K TV (TCL 43S515).
