Works Great!: Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I have two 27" Apple Cinema Displays from 2011 and I'm planning on connecting them to my new 2019/2020 Mac Pro soon. I also have a pair of MacBook Pros with USBC/Thunderbolt connectors. I took the cable out of the box, hooked it up to the display cable, hooked it up to one of my MacBook Pros - worked GREAT I then changed the USB cable from the monitor to a USB 2 -> USB C (Apple) Plugged in the cable, plugged it into my laptop, the security camera on the monitor worked flawlessly, rarely does

Strange behavior with 27 " Apple Cinema Display

Overall picture quality is decent. noticed weird little issues. Some UI elements appear slightly blurry (text boxes in some apps but not all) It's not a specific spot on the screen either, because those blurry bits get moved to where I moved the window.Then I noticed that if I moved the mouse pointer and then stopped, after about a second, the pointer turned into a slight blurred state. Some window shadows also shifted slightly when moving the mouse. I'm not entirely sure what the explanation…

Worked great! to Computer Cable Adapter

I have two 27" 2011 Apple Cinema Displays and wanted to connect them to my new 2019/2020 Mac Pro which is coming soon. I also have a pair of MacBook Pros with USBC/Thunderbolt ports I took the cable out of the box, hooked it up to the display cable, hooked it up to one of my MacBook Pros - worked GREAT I then connected the monitor's USB cable to a USB 2 -> USB C (Apple) cable , which plugged into the laptop, the view camera on the monitor worked perfectly Rarely does something work so easily

Working, recommended

Using another company's DP HDMI cable bought from Revain a year ago had all sorts of problems with the built in displayport last week. I spent hours looking for options to use a second monitor and connect remotely, switch cables, etc. Nothing worked. I called the motherboard manufacturer and complained and they offered to reset the cmos battery, clear the bios and start over with a clean build. If that fails, send an RMA. Gosh, and before opening the case, I ordered this DisplayPort to HDMI…
