Works great on plaster. Used it on about 20 holes and no signs of dulling. I used it in combination with a 3-3/8" MK Morse AT54 carbide hole saw because the latter works better on the rack part, had two drill bits ready and switched back and forth between the two hole saws.
Dimensions not exactly 3 3/4" as advertised. It cuts well through plaster and battens and after drilling 12 holes still has most of the carbide in it but as it's not the right one size I was on the ceiling chewing bits of batten with a wrench to get my electrical boxes to fit, it took 3-4 times longer than it should.
Very good product, cuts cleanly through plaster very well. It did such a wonderful job and cut plaster, foil, metal lathe and even wood clean cut I'm amazed I was able to buy it cheaper in the UK and have it shipped to Colorado than buying it here in the US It took a few extra days but that was fine with me as I wasn't in a rush I also ordered a mandrel that clicks awesome.
