Would buy again.

Mainly used to rescue Jeep/Toyo vehicles off-road in snowy conditions. This rope worked great for combining the weight of two vehicles. Excellent stretch and at a fraction of the price of other ropes. That was one of the reasons I bought it to test it out. So far very satisfied.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Good quality for the price

Bought this for my new bike and ended up using it on my next ride. Buddy collapsed 10 miles from the truck, pumping it through mud, jagged rocks, creeks and rivers to get it back. Despite all this, the rope has held up well so far. The stretch had the added benefit of softening the shocks. I might get another one as a backup as the abrasive surfaces I've used it on so far may not be good.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Frequency

Great rope for the price!

I bought this rope without any expectations but having had the opportunity to use it several times I can say that the purchase was worth it. I dragged my friends back to camp and pulled them out of the mud pits. And all without the traditional hit of a tow hook. I'm sure other companies' products are just as good, but why pay for Bubba Rope when Ditch Pig works just as well.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Some small things

Very happy with tie-downs so far

After watching Matt's Off-Road Recreation (YouTube Channel), I had to get myself some kinetic rope. Don't do too many recovery tows so I didn't think I needed an upscale one. At $80 this 20' x 7/8" rope seems like a great value for not-so-serious users like me. I used it once on an ultra-light lift and it worked as expected - a super smooth operation compared to non-kinetic towing.Belt or chain.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not Everything Is Alright

It saved my life.

3/4" x 20 ft. I was using two of these as bridles to attach a 200 foot tow line to my 12 ton (23,500 lb) sailboat when it broke in the water went lifeboat towed me in rough seas for 7 hours and the "Spring" sling most likely saved my boat from serious damage (the tug captain was impressed) And despite the stress and salt water the fishing line still looks good new with no signs of wear or scratches I can only recommend this product.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Just in time good for tie-downs

Bought the 3/4" version a week ago and used it today. Used it to pull an armored Xterra (Gen 1) out of the snow. The road is dirt when not covered in snow, with a decent incline. The Xterra dug into the snow while lifting another car and also got stuck. The method that worked was to loosen a foot or two, then step on the gas and pull the stuck rig out of the mess. As soon as the fixed installation began to move, the rope did its job and pulled it out. Worked great and I'm glad I got it when I…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
