💦 DIVERSITECH CP-22 Condensate Removal Pump - Efficient 120V Solution, 12x6x6-3/4 Review

I bought this to replace an old dehumidifier that we had to manually drain and carry buckets of water upstairs to add an automatic pump function. We don't have a drain in the basement. Our sewer line goes out 5 feet. above the basement. And since we don't have any problems with water in the basement, we don't have a drainage pump either. It was something I should have done many years ago.

So when the pump gets dirty and stops working, it turns off the air conditioner instead of wetting the floor. I have one that has been running for several years now. The pump is OK, the red "tank" is broken. I used this on my condensate collection furnace. Mounted on the wall with two protrusions in the product that attach to the screws.
