📏 Ticonderoga Personal Electric Pencil Sharpener: Vertical, Yellow and Green – Includes 12 Ticonderoga Pencils (39571) Review

This pencil sharpener sharpens acceptably as long as you rotate your pencil while sharpening. I have to hold the sharpener while using it or it will fall and break the tip of the pencil I'm trying to sharpen. I tried and returned 2 other battery powered sharpeners prior to this purchase. I'm keeping this one - it's the best recommendation I can give.

It's pretty loud for a pencil sharpener lol. He sharpens his pencils much slower than I do, and I don't get the feeling that he really sharpens them all the way. I noticed that it has a trigger for when to stop as some/most electric sharpeners now do. But it seems like 90% of the time my pencils aren't sharp enough. I ended up having to push them aside to get nice and pointy. But generally they are sharpened so I can't complain.

This is a pretty good sharpener so far. It's a bit light and sometimes needs to be held to be durable, but it certainly gets the job done and is fast. However, it still has a problem I've experienced with many sharpeners, uneven sharpening all around. One side of the sharpened tip is barely visible and the wood is next to the tip. That's a lot better than manual sharpeners, but that's still an issue. Overall I recommend the sharpener as so far it has been reliable and not overly expensive.
