Description of ๐Ÿ”ฎ 24 X WS2812 WS2812B 5050 RGB LED Ring Lamp Light: Ideal for Arduino and Raspberry Pi Projects

This RGB LED ring can work with AVR, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PIC, mbed etc. Voltage:DC4-7V,usually we use USB 5V to power it, current draw at 5 V is around 1.44amps(60 mA per LED,24 X 0.6 = 1.44 amps.); LED Chip:WS2812B; Communication interface:Single-wire communication. You can set the led brightness in the arduino code, and also you can program each light individually. Note: The led ring doesn't come with cable.if you need it, please search ASIN:B07KLM9KR1. What you will get is: 1 X 24Bits WS2812 5050 RGB LED Ring. If you have any questions when you use our products, pls feel free to contact us.

Very easy to use and great for Arduino projects!

I bought this to use in an Arduino Volume Know project I'm working on. I drive an LED ring from Seeeduino Xiao's internal 5V and GND pins, as well as a digital output for data. I LOVE that the whole ring has only one exit. Response times are good and the RGB LEDs offer endless possibilities. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again!

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Also works great with the Neopixel library on Arduino!

Works seamlessly with the Adafruit Neopixel library. Remember that the first LED in the code is 0! The circuit board and the soldering of the LEDs are fine. Enough room to get a thin soldering tip to solder in your own wires, be careful not to short the leg of any of the LEDs! I actually use it at 3.3v and it works fine, super bright LEDs (I had to dim the picture to show how it works and I did one with flash). I used Neopixel for the first time and got it up and running in less than 10 minutes

Works great, cheaper than Adafruit

The best plus is that it's not plagiarized like Adafruit's LED ring which costs twice as much as a pathetic 24 LED ring. It's a WS2812, so it works seamlessly with the Neopixel or FastLED libraries for Arduino. I wanted to use them for a compact project so I programmed the ATtiny85 to run them (works great). You can get away with even less SRAM than the ATtiny85 since there are very few LEDs. It's very bright, especially since all 24 LEDs in the ring are pointing in the same direction, so don't
