Screenshots are good, but software.

I couldn't get my work to work using the software instructions that came with it, but after using the Adafruit library and its tutorials the screens worked fine.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Looks good and works.

Works fine but don't use manufacturer specified information or libraries if you want to use ESP8266. The Adafruit SSD1306 libraries worked for me. You need to go into the library header file (SSD1306.h) and uncomment the line "#define SSD1306_128_64" if you are using this 128x64 display.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not sure

Works perfectly. - Computer Components

This little OLED display works great with my Arduino projects. If you've never bought a display, be aware that it's quite small. They work and look great and I've been happy with them so far!

Pros
  • Nice Build
Cons
  • Modern

Works with (some) bundled software

Works. Given my experience with other devices in this category, this is an improvement. Contains software libraries, examples and some documentation (which I didn't follow closely). I connected it directly to the Yun by matching the pin names (SCL, SCA, GND, 3.3V) and using the software listed on this page. I did NOT install their GFX library. Everything on my system (unfortunately your mileage may vary) works fine. A small problem: The swap() function is not defined in the SSD1306 software…

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Weak set

I don't know why but I can't wait to use them.

I bought them just for the game, there was no particular use. Although I haven't used them on anything finished yet, they appear to be exactly as described. Well packaged, no bent contacts or other damage. I was able to test them and they work fine for me. The screens have a bright display and are very clear.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

I ordered them in a hurry, so those of you who might think like me that you can write yellow pixels and blue pixels anywhere on the screen, please be aware that this is not the case. This is a "monochrome" screen with yellow LEDs in the top 1/4 of the screen and blue LEDs in the bottom 3/4 of the screen. Ease of use with the Adafruit library. That's convenient, but if I need a different display, I'll look for a monochrome screen (i.e. all blue).

Pros
  • . I hold my fists
Cons
  • . There are other interesting options.

I ordered two packs of yellow and blue display but received both displays with white letters instead. I have ordered several others from the same company and prefer the blue/yellow version. White OLED displays work fine, but I don't think they look as good as two-tone ones. So actually 5 stars for functionality and value but only 2 stars for this order due to the unfortunate color. I was quickly contacted by DIYmall and they offered to ship me the yellow and blue units. Great service and I'm…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The display itself works fine if you use the supplied libraries mentioned above. If you try to use the real Adafruit library, it complains. Another problem is that when using the nano-type system, this library uses all the memory. If I try to get it working with u8glib I'll change my rating if I can get it working there, but for now once I've downloaded the included library I don't have space to run my own code! Update: I started using the u8x8 library and now I can get OLED and my other code…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • sad hardware
