Great meter - great price.

Great little meter. It's a little flimsy feeling, (light weight), but it works well and has a very complete range of batteries, it can test. The special probes are a nice touch. I don't think you can touch it for the money.

Pros
  • It is easy to use with simple button controls
Cons
  • The tester may not work with cell phone batteries.

It works accurately -- but

The unit does test batteries nicely, is cheap, is easy to use and so far can be trusted to find the functional state of several different kind of batteries. The idea behind the display makes sense. This tester is a typical Chinese product. The manual is written in terrible English. The case is a simple plastic case without any features to fasten it to a work bench setup. The front scale is done in extremely small print which makes it a challenge for some people to read. The handle selecting the

Pros
  • It is ideal for those who rely on batteries for their daily needs, such as photographers or musicians
Cons
  • The product may not be able to test multiple batteries at once.

hard to read display

the arrangement of the probes makes it necessary to lay the cell on a surface and then test pos and neg. problem is there is no back light to the display and the display is not clear if you are not looking directly at it. a better display that you can read from an angle or better yet a back light would make this a very good tool. Kind of a pain now.

Pros
  • It checks a variety of battery types including AA, AAA, C, D, 9V, 12V, 18650, CR123A, 2CR5, and CR2032
Cons
  • The tester may not have a large enough sample size to provide accurate testing results.

Fantastic Battery checker!

I love this! Like most of us, I have a lot of battery-operated devices. And I do, sometimes, find a battery in a drawer and I do not know why it is there or how old it is.And with this tool, I can easily and instantly find out if it is brand new, slightly used, or almost dead. The screen is very easy to read. You select the battery type on the dial. Put one probe onto the positive, one on the negative end of the battery. Now the meter, going up in 5% jumps will tell you what percentage of the…

Pros
  • ★ RELIABLE & MULTIFUNCTIONAL: With its high ability to detect battery capacity percentage, battery voltage, and battery internal resistance, the precise universal battery meter is great for finding out if your EDC devices need new batteries or if it was device faulty. Such as kids' toys, flashlights, controllers, cameras, etc.
Cons
  • The battery tester may not provide enough information to diagnose battery problems.

Nice battery tester for a variety of battery types

I have been using my existing battery tester for checking my AA / AAA batteries and a voltmeter for checking the smaller ones like CR2032 / CR2025. The Dlyfull Universal Battery Tester with LCD Display is very versatile in a sense that it can be used to test many different types of batteries including the smaller CR series . As a added bonus, this battery tester also measures the batteries internal resistance which is a key indicator of the batteries' health. Although it does not show such…

Pros
  • Its compact size makes it easy to store and travel with
Cons
  • The battery tester may not be able to check voltage across all contact points.

Over Priced best in my review

No Impressed with this digital read out tester. Considering it uses batteries you would think the digital read out would be lie up. Also the battery indicators are very small so if your eyes are not 20/20 you might become challenged to read the scale indicator. For the price it is subpar.

Pros
  • ★ LARGE LCD SCREEN: Fully and clearly informed about the battery under test, it helps you easily and quickly finds out how much power your battery has to determine if they are charged or need replacement. Get a longer battery lifespan by not overcharging partially full rechargeable batteries.
Cons
  • The tester may not work with uncommon battery types.

A Must Have 4 Every Home

Yes, this is a must have item because it is one of those things is very useful & pays for itself quickly.I have discovered after testing many batteries. that when devices that are powered by say, 4-8 AA's stop working due to low battery power.that it does not always mean that every battery is dead. sometimes 1 or more are still good. as in 75 - 100%!I just spent a half an hour or more going through a box of used batteries …. 2/3r

Pros
  • It operates quickly, providing results in seconds
Cons
  • The tester may not be able to test batteries while they are in use.
