These amazing rugs. I appreciated the padding around the elbows. The one I got from my doctor just has a small square pad in the middle. I will say I have a small hand and I started with medium then large and now very large and I wouldn't even recommend very large for a man if you don't mind it being a bit tight. If you suffer from ulnar pain while you sleep, you should definitely try these. I've been told they also help with heel pain, but I don't use them for that, so I can't vouch for that. I can sleep through the night without waking up in agony multiple times - I love them so much I bought a few pairs so I can wear others while two are in the wash. Sold at a very good price! I even recommended it to one of my doctors who also has ulnar nerve pain.

The product says xlarge - NO - to my 84 year old mother who has bird hands - it would not fit. I was just trying to put one on and it barely went through her arm and when I lifted it above her elbow I saw that she was choking off her circulation. After reading the reviews I figured I'd take the risk anyway. I ordered the largest suggested size 2XL but it's still VERY tight. I'm not sure who designs/makes them or who does quality control or company testing, but obviously they should be BIGGER for almost everyone. Seriously, when we say they run small, they REALLY are small. It's a bit odd that for me, a skinny 5ft 9in woman with rather small hands, Big is too small.
