Scrap, DO NOT BUY THIS for brake lights

***update*** AVOID THIS LIGHT, the seal didn't fail, flooded my truck interior, had to go back to storage scrap, scrap, Garbage. The plug doesn't fit. You need to connect the standard plug. The colors are all the same. In general, the device looks good.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Tape

Electrical plug does not fit factory outlet

This third stop light setup could have been a lot better if the electrical plug had fitted correctly. It did not fit my 2015 Ford F-150 as advertised. I had to salvage the connector from OE and spend an extra 30-45 minutes splicing and soldering to finish it. Once connected, it fits and looks good.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Blank

Low quality. Support does not take calls.

Bought this item for my 2016 F150. The connector plug was pointing backwards and did not fit. I had to plug in a connector from the factory headlight. Also, one of the LED boards has a bad connection and lights up when it wants to. Low quality. Support will not answer the phone or email you back.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Something different

Dim: Lightbulbs

It doesn't shine bright, not as good as a normal one, like a bad LED flashlight on a selfie you can see better. The lights really suck for LEDs, they look like they're starving for power, not bright at all. The connection is wrong, needs to break a couple of tabs at the top to make it work, they're on the wrong side. Aside from that, they don't perform like you imagined.

Modified plug and play

It WOULD be plug and play but they got the connector wrong. All you have to do is take a knife and cut off the excess part from the top. The connector is attached to a pin, so push out the white pin to gain access to the connector. Turn it on and it's fine. Also, I had to bend the light a bit to get it in place. But overall it's worth the money. Although not very bright.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Very expensive

NOT PLUG & PLAY for 2015 F-150. Plugs must be connected.

Purchased for 2015 F-150. The light looks good and works so far, but is NOT PLUG AND PLAY. The plug it comes with is backwards, see my photo. If you're willing to cut and splice three wires to replace your stock light connectors with a new one, it works great and looks pretty good, just know you have to do it. for 2015 anyway.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Guard

Leaks over time, now mold = $500 repair bill

Don't buy this, yes it looks good and is quite easy to install on my 2016 F150 XLT. However, less than 2 years later it caused a leak so bad that a $300 Ford repair would require a technician to clean and remove all of the mold from the truck. It cost me about $500. I learned the lesson of buying things like this on the secondary market.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Clarity
