Improved Performance Cold Air Intake Pipe+Heat Shield System for 2002-2006 Cadillac Escalade ESV EXT Review

The product came with no instructions and had to be modified slightly to fit my '99 Chevy Silverado, hence the 3 stars. The filter that comes with these cheap kits is usually junk so I replaced it with a K&N. Overall, I got a good K&N intake kit for a lot less than the $300 K&N kit.

Well it says it fits my truck and I have to wear it and it fits some of my own manufacturers. The sound is pretty good and I could tell my truck got a little more boost when I got on it so it's a great product except they didn't send me the right rubber hose connectors. I hope this helps someone.

Very good value for money, worth every penny. lines just right. You'll have to tweak a bit to get the screws to fit together perfectly. Instructions! Who needs a guide to installing a cold air intake?…. None for this simple mod! No worse than a K&N filter. I can't comment on the fuel consumption as I drive an E-85.

No instructions that something like this should be really good but the fit isn't perfect which is admittedly what you'd expect from a cheap air intake but I was only able to fit it after modifying the 'box' so it will it aligned with the screw holes. The gasket material needs to be cut and then placed as best as possible. He works for what he is. Nothing is noticeable at low revs, but at high revs I noticed a small acceleration.

Got this for my 2000 Silverado 1500 5.3L. Arrived within a day, well packaged. The installation took me 20 minutes. Everything fits perfectly and is a quality kit for the money. There are no instructions for this product, but everything is quite simple. Seriously worth the money. You won't notice any difference at first until the engine gets used to the less restrictive airflow. Combine that with long pipe heads and a 92mm throttle body and you'll see a nice power boost.
