I bought this just before a big 2 week trip in my Jeep, on average about 1-1/2 mpg better than the stock airbox. (Wj on 33s) so every mpg helps. Also, I THINK (pure speculation) that it helped my engine stay a little cooler in the hot mountains.

This product is great, it increased fuel economy and was pretty easy to install. I was a little frustrated when I opened the box because all the hardware was there, but the nuts they sent me didn't match the screws they sent me. I was able to find a few others lying around so not too much of a delay. Installation took no more than 30 minutes, good product.

There were no instructions so I had to take a random guess and I think it's ok but it took about an hour or so to install. It's basically K&N but with a cheaper filter and it's aluminum (I think the K&N is plastic) but overall I like the setup, it looks clean. The downside is that the hot air from the fan is forced through the power steering gap into the shielded area. Good for the price.

I was skeptical about buying this product, although I have to say that I am satisfied with what I received. In comparison, at least for the price better than K&N. It would get 5 stars but no instructions and screws that don't match as stated in other reviews. The product is a 4. I can't say much about the power increase as I have a 4.7 HO and the stock pickup is really good. I'll update the review in about a week and see what the reliable dyno says along with increasing or decreasing mpg…
