Poor welds, workmanship.

Welds not straight. Also, there were welds on the back end of the pipe where you attach the rest of the exhaust pipe where you want it to seal. Not good. I did my best to remove them with a grinder attached. You may need to take everything off to sand it down and get a seal. Not impressed.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Perfect fit saves a lot of money

Absolutely perfect. This is suitable for 2005 with 4.3L. It screwed on with no problems. It's great that you can't get it anywhere else for a comparable price. Even welding 2 transducers costs $500 or more and I'm in business. Just buy and attach the screws and you're done. What an amazing product and value.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

very very easy install thanks

don't like >>> O2 sensor on passenger side too close to frame above gearbox mount >>> exhaust should be very close to cab floor. Recommendation: Weld the O2 sensor connector 2 inches further back and point at least 1/2 inch up for the O2 sensor installation gap (too awfully narrow), thanks

MISSING PARTS, poor fit and poor welds

IF I HAVE THE DNA Motoring OEM-CONV-001 Replace factory type catalytic converter exhaust downpipe clamp, gaskets. Gaskets and screws were missing. I bought the missing parts locally and started installing the kit and found it didn't fit properly. The passenger side downstream oxygen sensor connector is located just behind the part of the frame that is in the wrong place on the pipe. The bends in the pipes are disabled, which leads to improper connection of the pipes and leakage at the junction…

  • Free for educational purposes

  • Not the best

You get what you pay for

Update; a few weeks later and the cats and exhaust are working fine. Everything about the review still applies. However, you get what you pay for. It's just that the cats in the muffler shop cost 350 each and as I'm sure any reader knows you should have 2 in most cases. hard to fret considering it's about 1/4 the price my local muffler stores wanted to charge just for new cats, but. 1) The fit could be better. It's in 2 parts so all you have to do is attach connectors to the header and deal…

  • Decent performance
