Useful little hub/dock

I bought this because (like many others) I work from home. I had to somehow easily connect my work laptop (MacBook Pro) to the monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. that I use for my personal setup (PC desktop). This docking station fully meets all requirements. Now all I have to do is swap a USB-C cable from Mac to PC and all my devices will work. I can also use the laptop screen and HDMI monitor at the same time with the extended desktop. 4 USB ports on the back (2x USB2, 2x USB3) allow connectionโ€ฆ

I'm looking for!: Notebook accessories

I have 2 MacBook Pros. My personal (13" 2015) and that provided by my work (15" 2017). Both work great. Both run Mojave and installation was pretty easy. I use two 24 inch monitors from Media Gear and a third one from Thunderbolt. I can leave my external USB stick plugged into the dock and I love that I can charge devices too. From time to time I work from home. Time, and it's nice to be able to switch from one Mac to another instead of lugging around a bunch of keys. ** Attention Catalina OSโ€ฆ

Superb Universal USB C Dock

I needed to set up a laptop with a USB-C output and need a quick disconnect feature. This docking station supports USB-C power delivery, which my laptop doesn't support, but I knew about it before buying it. Now all I have to do is disconnect the USB-C cable from this device and the power cable and I can work with the laptop. At home I will mainly use a connected laptop as a workplace. I like to use a separate keyboard and mouse so the USB port is connected to the docking station. In additionโ€ฆ

Works like a charm: Computers and accessories

I bought this because my new Samsung Galaxy S laptop only has 2 USB-C ports, a serious drawback if You need to connect a lot of peripherals. This MediaGear dock worked great right out of the box. The power cord and USB CC cable are top notch, extra thick for insulation, perfect for my audio gear. The 90W Power Delivery port worked great with my external USB 3 drives while charging my laptop through a single USB-C port. The blue LED lights are cool too. Haven't tried 4K monitors as I don't haveโ€ฆ
